E-mail Print PDF

Toronto - Environics Research Group and CLB Media Inc. announced today a broad-based partnership that will see the two companies jointly develop research in a range of vertical markets related to CLB Media's properties. The first research project will focus on the implementation and maintenance of green purchasing and sustainability practices in Canadian business.

"In spite of the economic downturn, corporate sustainability practices are still the focus of investment and growth in many of Canada's leading companies,'' says Niel Hiscox, Vice President of CLB Media, and the founding publisher of Green Business, a specialty website focused on corporate sustainability practices. ''However, with budget constraints those investment dollars need to be carefully allocated. Our readers are managing these very challenges. By working with Environics' rich history in research and analytics, we will be able to offer those readers research on purchasing trends, constraints and potential growth areas in green procurement practices in Canada that will help them better navigate these changing waters.''

''Environics Research is focused on helping clients better understand the unique needs, opportunities and motivations of their customers and partners with a wide portfolio of methodological approaches and research tools that address the business challenges many organizations frequently face, including identifying market and growth opportunities, measuring and enhancing customer loyalty, involvement and satisfaction, and supply chain management,'' says Dr. Barry G. Watson, President and Chief Executive Officer for Environics Research Group.

''Partnering with CLB Media and their stable of business-to-business media properties was a natural fit for better understanding trends in sustainable business and procurement practices,'' says Keith Neuman, Ph.D, Group Vice-President, Public Affairs, for Environics Research Group Ltd.
