VANCOUVER, BC — Yesterday, Smartcool Systems Inc. reported that the company's distributor in India, Optimair Solutions Private Limited, has successfully completed a performance evaluation of Smartcool's Energy Savings Module (ESM) for Dell International Services India Pvt. Ltd. (Dell ISI). The evaluation period lasted four weeks and required Optimair to install the ESM technology on the air conditioning chillers at the Dell facility in Bangalore, India. Upon conclusion of the evaluation period, data indicated power savings of 16.39 per cent and a return on invested capital of 21 months. Dell ISI, Bangalore has now formally approved the ESM as a key cost reduction tool for their air conditioning system and will work with Optimair to implement the ESM at other sites for Dell ISI.

"The facility in Bangalore required us to install on both Carrier and York Chillers that are operating for approximately 16 hours a day in extreme conditions. The successful evaluation clearly indicates that the ESM provides a robust solution for energy savings in air conditioning systems."
