With the skyrocketing price of energy, Dell’s new Vostro 410 small business
PC might turn a few heads. According to the company, the computer’s Energy Smart technologies could cut computer-related energy costs by about 47 per cent without sacrificing performance.
The Vostro 410 includes Intel’s Core 2 Quad processors, up to 4 GB of 800MHz memory, and a selection of high-end Nvidia GeForce or ATI Radeon graphics cards.
Dell uses a large tower design for the Vostro 410 to accommodate up to four hard disk drives, six expansion slots as opposed to the conventional four, and four bays as opposed to three. The desktop PC also has built-in Gigabit Ethernet capability.
The Vostro 410 is available now in North America.
