Designed by e3 Solutions, the carbon accounting and reporting tool will be provided to Sustainable Waterloo’s Pledging Partners to give them instant access and training to standardized software used by some of the largest organizations in North America in a cost-efficient web-based Software-as-a-Service model (SaaS). This GHG Management system will help Pledging Partners measure, monitor, and verify activities to significantly reduce risks by achieving carbon reduction targets and promote sustainability.
"We are proud to be working with e3 Solutions to provide future Pledging Partners with a comprehensive carbon reporting tool." said Mike Morrice, Executive Director of Sustainable Waterloo. "This tool will allow our Pledging Partners to easily examine their environmental impact with market-leading software at a significantly lower cost than if they were to quantify their emissions independently."
With The Regional Carbon Initiative, Sustainable Waterloo will facilitate carbon emission reductions for Pledging Partner organizations by providing:
- e3 Solution’s carbon accounting and reporting tool
- Quarterly educational forums and technical workshops
- A directory of Waterloo Region environmental services professionals
- Inclusion in consolidated reporting and public recognition as merited
